Our good friend Lenneka (and occasional agency scout for This Ain't No Disco) is heading to Hong Kong with a one-way ticket and a bag full of interior design skills. She's looking to soak up some local inspiration and mix it up with her existing original direction. If you're an interior design firm or know of an agency looking to hire/meet a new interior designer she'd love to hear from you. She's looking for full time work as well as collaborative projects. Can you help? Drop us a mail and we'll make the connection.
We received a note from the guys and girls over at 'AOL Home' last week, wanting to run a small feature on This Ain't No Disco. Not one to turn down some good press :) we obviously jumped at the chance and today they have added a small showcase to their site. Check it out here. Give it a thumbs up on the votes too :)
Merry Christmas everyone and have a fantastic New Year from This Ain't No Disco. Thanks for your support, feedback and readership throughout 2008. Look forward to more agencies and a few extra treats in store in 2009. Cheers, Ian
New images now added for the awsomely eclectic offices of Workhouse Publicity (NY). Check out the new ones here.
This Ain't No Disco was recently featured in Revista - the Sunday magazine for one of Brazil's top newspapers - the O Globo. Check it out here.

Love the old brick work. And those chairs look super comfy! Where are they from? I love the high backs..

@Alex, yeah, something about that older exposed brick look that really brings it to life; that is the original brick, about 105 years old.
The chairs are actually from Ikea … it is the high backs that sold us as well, and they have this sort of pillow/cushion at the top that really adds to making it a great shit up straight and work and lean back and put your feet up sort of chair.

HA HA … that would be “sit up straight” not “shit up straight” — I love the iPhone auto-complete; killing me here!

LOL i thought for a second “shit up straight” was some kind of sweet new interweb term i had yet to adopt. i think i’m adding it to my repetoir anyway.
and thanks for the totally depressing pictures. i’m passing this around to all my fellow shoebox-with-poor-ventilation-and-no-windows coworkers. time to update that resume…
